Always a good time to go with family and friends, and it's one of the only camp grounds in the area that allows you to consume alcohol. Makes for a fun experience, especially when celebrating someone's birthday! They also have events throughout the day on weekends that are fun for both kids and adults.
The last review said "If your looking for a Quiet place this is not it" Exactly! This campground is not Stuffy & Pretentious like so many places have become with these Glampers that are all over nowadays! They let you have fun and have plenty to do. Nobody constantly telling you to be Quiet or put the fire out and go to bed. And pretty much let you park your camper however you want on your site. So if your with a group you can do Awning to Awning. We do every Columbus day to Halloween weekend. This is the best trip of the year for our group! The only reason for 4 and not 5 stars is the price steadily goes up every year and is creeping up to expensive. @ $304.00 for 2 weekends in the fall when Pool is closed.
I'm 21 years old now, but I remember quite well some of the fun times I had being here as a young child. My aunt and uncle had a Camper and would bring it here for years on end; that's when me and the rest of my house would go on down to Brailee for some good old fashioned family fun. Everything about this place is amazing. The lake is very taken care of especially, not to mention any staff I've encountered along the way have been very polite to us since they know what good service takes as a means of keeping the folks in your bloodline happy. I'd remember being there until late at night, roasting marshmallows on the camper's lot rented out and having some cool drinks during those summer days. They sadly sold the camper after a while but at least I took this chance to reflect on the nostalgia Brailee has given us.
Lots of activities and stuff to do, but so many kids everywhere. If you're looking for a quiet campground look elsewhere. Clean facilities and a nice beach and pool. Tent campers, some of the sites are gravel, no grass which makes staking tents difficult but not impossible.
We bought our first camper this week and Brialee was our 1st camping trip! I could not have asked for a better experience! The playgrounds were clean and the owner Clem was very helpful getting us newbies set up! We loved it so much we extend our stay for another nite. Our 2 year old loved the play grounds and the beach..the dog was in heaven too!
